When ten-year-old Yaakov Yitzchak Yudelevitch set out on foot from Ponevezh, Lithuania to Eretz Yisroel with his two small brothers in the mid-1800s, little did he know that his faith, courage, and determination were the beginnings of a great spiritual legacy for his many descendants. Told from the perspective of a loving son, In Every Generation presents the story of Rav Shmuel Aharon Yudelevitch against the backdrop of the Old Yishuv of Yerushalayim between the two world wars and beyond, and of his forebears, whose fear and love of Heaven and dedication to their Creator and His Torah paved the way for Rav Shmuel Aharon's own self sacrificing Torah study, outstanding middos, and singular deveikus to Hashem.
