On the last Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah, after midnight, Jews around the world gather to recite the penitential prayers which usher in the Days of Awe - Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and the intervening days. The order of these prayers, according to the custom of Chabad, is presented ere in an easy-follow-translation.
This new rendition will make the saying of Selichot meaningful to those not fluent in Hebrew and, ultimately, it will intensify the entire High Holiday experience.
